Inspections

We offer up to six different inspection options under the Inspection tab in the Xometry Instant Quoting Engine. Some processes may have a differing number of available options. Sampling plans also vary by process, with details available on our Sampling Plans page. To learn about the specific inspection options by process, please refer to the directory below:

 

CNC Machining & Sheet Fabrication

  • Inspection options:
    • Standard Inspection
    • Formal Inspection with Dimensional Report
    • CMM Inspection with Dimensional Report
    • First Article Inspection Report (FAIR AS9102)
    • Source Inspection
    • Custom Inspection

  • Includes inspection options for the following processes: 
    • CNC Machining
    • Sheet Cutting (Laser/Waterjet)
    • Sheet Metal

  • Note: Inspection options are not available for the Polyjet or Metal Binder Jetting processes at this time.
