Standard sheet metal material gauge chart – Xometry

Sheet metal parts are commonly made using aluminum, steel, stainless steel, brass, bronze, and copper. The pre-treated sheet can be sourced, including galvanized metal.

Metal blanking is recommended to be below 4' x 10'.

The table below describes standard sheet metal gauges used. Gauge is a measure of thickness, and the smaller the gauge, the thicker the material will be.
